The CookBook Club has all the best food! Every month we choose a new book and each cook a recipe to share. Then we meet up and eat! This month we’re cooking from Half Baked Harvest Super Simple. Stop in to flip through the book and let us know your choice!

We have a MASSIVE LEGO collection – and this is your chance to make an epic build! Come by and check out some truly unique LEGOS, bring a friend, and see what you can create. LEGO club is free and unsupervised.

Open Studio
FREE Sep 19th, 9am-1pm
Practicing your art is so much more fun with friends. So bring your art or craft (and don’t forget the snacks!) to Open Studio. Make some progress on your work and get caught up on your friendships (or build new ones) at the same time. Any type of art and all types of artists are welcome.

Mahjong 101
FREE 9/14 & 21 9:30 – 11am
Learn to play mahjong! This FREE, 4 session class will take you from “That looks fun” to “Pung!” (don’t worry that will make sense after the first class). Interested adults should email Director@EriePublicLibrary.com to reserve their spot.

Stuffy Sleepover!
FREE Sep 18-19th
Your stuffy is invited to a Stuffy Sleepover! A once-in-a-lifetime sleepaway camp for your very best friend. Drop off your stuffy on the 18th and we’ll post pics of your stuffy with all their new friends as they slumber the night away! Pick up is the next morning – you enjoy a takeaway breakfast while you hear all about your stuffy’s adventures. Responsible stuffy owners (or their parents) should email Director@EriePublicLibrary.com to reserve a spot.

The Whiteside County Senior Center will be presenting a free class on how to decipher Medicare. Bring your questions and be ready when open enrollment arrives! This presentation takes place at the library and requires no registration. Bring a friend!

We are proud to be the first library anywhere to host StoryQuestTM. It’s a free, real life choose-your-own-adventure for children. Start at the library and make your way out into the community to fight dragons or morph into robots, then back to the library to (hopefully) return to normal. Every brave adventurer gets their very own passport to keep track of their journeys.
